The Story of Marttiini
In the snowy north of Finland, in a town called Rovaniemi, the story of Marttiini began in 1928.
A blacksmith named Jan Marttiini started making knives by hand. Living in a harsh environment, he knew a knife had to be strong, sharp, and reliable. He made knives for hunters and fishermen, and soon people noticed their quality.
His small workshop grew into a well-known company. Marttiini became famous for traditional Finnish knives, especially the simple but powerful puukko.
Today, Marttiini knives are used all around the world. Even after many years, the idea is still the same: make tools that last and can be trusted.
